Hier soll von Chlodwig um 510 Martinkloster gegründet worden sein, das eventuell als Domkloster bestand, dann unterging. Es lag wohl an der Stelle der Kirche Saint-Orens.

C'est ici que Clovis aurait fondé vers 510 le monastère de Saint-Martin, qui a peut-être existé en tant que monastère de la cathédrale, puis a disparu. Il se trouvait probablement à l'emplacement de l'église Saint-Orens.
