Um 500/590 soll das Kloster gegründet worden sein. Über die frühen Bauten gibt es keine Erkenntnisse. Ein wohl romanischer Bau wurde in der Revolution zerstört. Heute existieren noch Reste des Klosters als Restaurant.

Le monastère aurait été fondé vers 500/590. On ne dispose d'aucune information sur les premières constructions. Une construction probablement romane a été détruite pendant la révolution. Aujourd'hui, des vestiges du monastère existent encore en tant que restaurant.
